Overview of Staff and Training

The professionals on our staff meet all state and federal credentialing requirements, which include ongoing training mandates. Additional training is provided as needed to ensure comprehensive service capability.

Resident Safety and Well-being

Our Risk Management team conducts routine checks and provides necessary training on a case-by-case basis to ensure the safety and well-being of our residents.

Resources and Support Services for Transition

For most of our residents, this facility is their last place of residence. However, we offer necessary support services for a smooth transition into the community if required.

Transportation Services

Currently, we are unable to offer transportation services for residents. We hope to change this soon.

Complaint Resolution Process

Our Social Service Director follows up on all grievances to ensure any issues or complaints from residents are addressed promptly and effectively.

Cost of Living

The cost of living in our community is a matter we prefer to discuss in person to give you a comprehensive understanding of all that is included.

Family Communication Policy

Communication with residents' families varies based on individual preferences; there is no one-size-fits-all approach.

Short-term or Respite Stays

Information regarding short-term or respite stays, including the cost, is also discussed in person.

Pet-Friendly Policy

Pets are allowed to visit our community, provided there is a copy of their vaccinations from their veterinarian.

Current Waitlist Status

We currently do not have a waitlist, although we have less than 10 rooms remaining at this time.

Vaccination Availability

Residents can receive COVID-19 and flu vaccinations within the community.

Aging in Place

Residents can age in place in our facility. We only discharge residents if we can no longer meet their specific needs, such as requiring a feeding tube or IV antibiotics, which the state regulations do not permit us to handle as an Assisted Living Facility.

Staffing and Care

We have 5 C.N.A.’s scheduled for 60 residents, per 1st & 2nd shift: 2 for nights. We have 1 Q.M.A. and 1 nurse on staff 24/7.

Services Offered

We offer weekly laundry and housekeeping services. Our menus are approved by a Registered Dietician.

Activities

Our Activity Department schedules activities that are of interest and meaningful to the residents. The activity department offers activities, 7 days a week.

Security and Memory Care

The entire building offers a secured environment for your loved one, needing Memory Care.

Rates and Fees

Our rates are all inclusive – no hidden fees. We accept private pay. Private rate is all inclusive, no hidden fees. We are a Medicaid Waiver building.

Resident Support

We offer a full time Social Worker, to assist our residents in any needs that they may have.

Room Options

We offer private and semi-private rooms. All rooms come with a small kitchenette and mini fridge.

History

Morning View’s history started in the late 1800’s, as the Singer Sewing Machine factory. Since then, it has been home to the Spaghetti Works Restaurant, a hotel and as an assisted living facility. If you love the look of exposed brick, wooden beams, and the industrial era of architecture; then you will love the warm welcoming feeling that Morning View has to offer.
