Overview of Staff and Training

The direct care staff are licensed and range from registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, certified nurse’s aide, and certified medication technicians.

We have a RN Staff Educator on site, that provides training upon one being hired, and we offer regular annual and ongoing training with the Staff Educator, as well as our Relias training.

Safety and Well-being Measures

Our long-term care neighborhoods and Memory Care Assisted Living areas are secured with a key code to exit and enter. Our ongoing assessments of an Assisted Living resident help determine when safety is a concern. We also have emergency drills to ensure those in our AL can negotiate a pathway to safety. Lenoir Woods also has 24/7 security staff.

Transition Support Services

Our Social Services department assists with supporting a new resident to acclimate. Lenoir Woods also has a Chaplain on staff and is a great resource for residents. We are contracted with Deer Oaks Counseling Services, if one has trouble adjusting.

Transportation Services

Yes, we provide scheduled transportation and transportation for medical appointments.

Dining Experience

We have several dining locations and offer a variety of menus for dining options.

• Woodland Café offers a la carte style dining daily. Woodland Café is open seven days a week for lunch and features a daily special and salad bar/soup options.
• The Grille is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Selections include fresh prepared breakfasts, sandwiches, cappuccinos, milk shakes, daily special, and salad/soup bar.
• The Lounge can be found in the Community Center. It features a rotating beer and wine selection as well as a wide variety of cocktails.
• Lavinia’s offers a la carte dining for the evening meal five days a week. Menu choices vary between a selection of entrees and chef created specials.
• Assisted Living, Memory Care Assisted Living, and Long Term Care all have their own dining area and dining options.

Resident Complaints and Issues

Our Social Service department is available to communicate concerns or grievances. If one is uncomfortable with sharing with the Social Service department, we utilize the services of the Ombudsman.

Cost of Living

I have attached price sheets for all levels of care.

Communication with Residents' Families

Our nursing staff communicate medication changes, changes in one’s condition, falls, and concerns that must be addressed. In our LTC we offer quarterly care plan meetings.

Short-term or Respite Stays

We offer a minimum 5 day respite stay in our LTC and a respite stay can be several weeks, if needed, and the rate is dependent upon the type of room.
