Overview of Staff and Training
We have around 200 associates employed by Wesley Glen. Our Associates go through a thorough New Associate Orientation and then specific training within their departments depending on what their job entails. Our Associates also undergo multiple annual required trainings.
Resident Safety and Well-Being Measures
In Assisted Living, residents receive a call pendant connected to their caregiver, which they can reach out to 24/7. They also have access to a nurse on their floor 24/7.
Support Services for Transition
Our associates, including nurses, caregivers, activity staff, and our Resident & Family Liaison, are all available to assist new residents moving into Wesley Glen.
Transportation Services
We offer transportation through our concierge program. We have a car, van, and bus available for these services.
Dining Experience
In Assisted Living, all three meals are provided in our dining room, served restaurant-style by our dining associates. We offer a chef special and an à la carte menu for all meals. A dietician is available for special diets.
Complaint Resolution Process
Typically, a resident would meet with either our Resident & Family Liaison or Director of Assisted Living to resolve any issues. We also have a Resident Council that meets monthly where residents can voice concerns.
Cost of Living
The cost of living depends on the apartment size and the level of care a resident needs. Assisted Living rates are available upon request.
Communication with Families
Our Nurses, Resident & Family Liaison, and Director of Assisted Living typically notify any resident or their power of attorney of any necessary changes or changes in condition as needed.
Short-Term or Respite Stays
We do not offer respite stays in Assisted Living.
Pet-Friendly Policy
Yes, we are a pet-friendly community.
Current Waitlist Status
We do not have a waitlist at this time. We currently have a studio and one-bedroom apartment available (as of today).
Vaccinations
We offer flu and COVID-19 vaccinations to residents.
Aging in Place
We offer long-term care at Wesley Glen. Most residents who eventually need more care than what Assisted Living can provide typically move to our long-term care. However, if a resident wishes to remain in Assisted Living with additional home health aide or companion services for the required hours per day, this option is also available.
