Community Details

Do you guys currently have a waitlist?
Not at this time.
Could you share pricing and any other general information?
I have attached a pricing list for both room and board and level of care costs.
Could you provide an overview of the types of professionals on your staff and the training they undergo at your facility?
We have a chef overseeing our dining room and kitchen; we have an RN who oversees our memory care community as well as an RN who oversees the entire wellness department. In addition, we have a floor nurse on staff present in the building both day and night. Our executive director is a licensed nursing home administrator who has held her license now for over 20 years. All of our staff continually gets training both virtually as well as in person monthly meetings.
Could you tell me about the measures you have in place to ensure the safety and well-being of your residents?
We do monthly fire and severe weather drills to keep our residents and staff aware of the procedures in the unlikely event of either situation happening. We also have a receptionist at the front desk from 8:30am to 8pm every day. After they leave, we do lock the front door. There are also cameras around the building as well as inside.
Do you offer any resources or support services to aid residents' transition into the community?
We have a “manager round table” that we offer when a new resident joins us, so that the senior can meet the different department heads and get their contact information.
Do you offer transportation services for residents?
Yes we do. We take residents to doctor appointments on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. On Thursdays we either go shopping or out to lunch, and we also have other outings available throughout the month.
Could you tell me a little about your dining experience?
Our dining room is open from 7 AM to 7 PM daily and the service is restaurant style. There will always be an entrée of the day for breakfast, lunch and supper and beyond that there is an always available menu that is cooked to order. The resident just sits at the table and our staff comes and serves them. I have attached a copy of our always available menu for your review.
What is the process that takes place if a resident has a complaint or an issue they want addressed?
The resident is always encouraged to speak with the department managers to voice any concerns that they might have. In addition, we have monthly town halls where we look for their input on the services provided. There is also a monthly meeting with the chef where we seek input from the residents on what they like and want more of, as well as the things that they are not so interested in.
What is your policy on communication with resident's families? How do you keep them updated about their loved ones' well-being?
The families have access to our wellness director twenty four hours a day seven days a week, and we do update them in any change of conditions. Other than that, we do have care conferences with families at least once every 6 months.
Do you all offer short-term or respite stays?
Yes we do, with a minimum of 30 days.
How much does this cost?
The respite stay is $250 a day in assisted living, and $300 a day in memory care.
Are you all a pet-friendly community?
Yes we are.
Are residents able to get Covid vaccination and flu vaccinations in the community?
Yes, they are.
Are residents able to age in place?
Yes they are! That is one of our most unique characteristics. We have a nurse available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year. As a result, we are able to provide a large spectrum of care for high acuity residents. The purpose for this is so that our residents will most likely age in place and not have to move to a higher level of care.
