Staff and Services

We have an abundance of staff here, from aides available 24 hrs a day (some who are trained HHAs) and nurses (RNs and LPNs) until 10pm. Our recreation team takes the time to get to know the residents, and the administration team is outstanding.

Safety Measures

For safety, all of our doors are locked 24hrs a day, excluding our front door which is open until 9pm when the receptionist leaves for the night and locks the door. We conduct frequent checks on residents' rooms throughout the day and night. If any staff notices a change in a resident's baseline health, we ensure to keep an eye and follow up if needed.

Transportation

We offer transportation services with our driver Frank, who can transport residents to Dr. appointments or just to the store if needed.

Dining Experience

Our dining experience is akin to a restaurant. We offer a daily menu, and if residents are not pleased with it, they can choose alternatives like sandwiches, salads, or leftovers from the night before. Our dining room resembles a restaurant setup, and residents are served by our wait staff.

Administrative Support

Residents can speak to the administration regarding any complaints or issues, usually directed to our case manager who addresses everyone's needs.

Living Costs

The cost of living starts with the SSI rate, based on social security income, at $1,388.00 a month. After moving in, if you have any type of income, even as low as $500, we apply for SSP to raise your budget to about $1,600.00, covering room, board, and spending money. This rate includes a shared room with all care and meals. A private room is available at $3,772.00 a month.

Family Communication

We notify families about any change in medical conditions for residents on the contact list. Families are also welcome to call and check in at any time.

Respite Stays

We offer respite stays with a 14-day minimum and a daily rate of $146.00, providing a private room.

Pet Policy

Residents cannot have pets live with them, but visiting pets are welcome. We also host visits from therapy animals, including dogs, kangaroos, and hedgehogs.

Health Clinics

We conduct annual flu and COVID clinics through our pharmacy partner, Health Direct. Our latest clinic occurred last week.

Aging in Place

Residents can age in place here. Our ALP (assisted living program) provides additional care for those who need more assistance. Requirements include active Medicaid and a physical exam with our ALP nurse. If a resident needs a higher level of care, we assist with placement arrangements.
